We know all's been quiet on the Tstmods front recently. That's not because we've forgotten or abandoned you: it's because what we've been doing for the past little while is all backend stuff: integrating new mods, going over app guidelines, assigning duties, that sort of thing. We don't really have much to show you of that, for obvious reasons.
We hope to have details on the new ships hammered out by next Friday, so you can start selecting ships and positions for your characters. In the meantime, though, we do have a little something for you: the fates of the old ships, now decommissioned.
The Winding Way, as previously noted, was decommissioned and sold to the highest bidder by L, out of concern that the Gung-Ho Guns might come looking for Vash, and the ship's crew would be caught in the crossfire once again.
The 4423 was repossessed by debt collectors. Isako herself vanished, presumably to avoid said debt collectors.
The Victoria II...well, Admiral Manfred von Karma was given an 'honorable' discharge following an injury. 'Honorable' here in quotes because it was really just an excuse for those rotten bastards who hate him to get rid of him. In retaliation, von Karma used a trick of the regulations to have his ship decommissioned, so that nobody else could ever have it.
The Fiertia is left in the hands of some of Yuri's Kropmork associates after Yuri vamoosed following backlash from the Ragou incident, in order to protect the crew. It is turned into Kropmork's first novelty bar.
And Captain Alex Rowe of the Silvana vanishes in the night, abducted by Denouement agents. First mate Agrias ninjas off with Holmes to try and recover him, but while the command staff are absent, the temperamental Claudia Drive breaks down, and the replacement parts are prohibitively expensive. The ship is shut down due to the cost.
As we noted previously, if you want to do IC journal posts in response to these events, you can - just be aware of the possibility that they may contradict canon when the game resumes and thus require retconning (although this is pretty unlikely, now that we've set the ship closings in stone).

I'll be a little slow on tagging for the weekend, probably. I know that we're on hiatus and all, but I just wanted to let folks know. I'll be going to visit Nika for a few days, but will be back up to speed after that.
We've been getting a few questions in regards to journal posts during the hiatus, so after a few discussions we have reached a conclusion:
We're not going to stop you all from making journal posts if you want to, but please do know that these posts could be potentially non-canon if the events during the IC timeskip clash with them and/or make them impossible. Just so long as you understand that danger and warning, then we're fine with whatever journal posts that you make. If you want to play safe, then make posts that will most likely be canon (ship leaving, joining etc) or when the game properly reopens once again.

No that was only five days... I can't count the extra bits. So that becomes... oh my!
I did turn sixteen! A little less than three weeks ago actually. So my Discedo birthday isn't too far off from my actual birthday... I think I'll just hold onto that one. So I'm sixteen, but not quite sixteen yet. [She gives an amused hum.]
Hmm... time is funny isn't it? There's the time you go through, the time your own body recognizes and all sorts of twists and bends it can do. You can alter it or leave it alone if you have the right tools...

So as most of chat knows, a bunch of us rolled new WoW character this week because we are all weak to the Warcrack. So!
